Meet Jackson Powell
As Senior Advisor for Industry Engagement at Advance Rockhampton, Jackson leads the delivery of Rockhampton Regional Council's extensive program of business and industry events, designed to support business growth and networking.
Jackson is the portfolio lead for employment, health and education within the economic development team. Working within that space, he is tasked with improving workforce retention, creating employment pathways and fostering partnerships with Rockhampton's major employers and local schools.
Born and raised in Rockhampton, Jackson draws upon his experience in education, administration, retail and hospitality - and a passion for the region - to set our community up for future success.
