Wayne Graham from the University of the Sunshine Coast explains the benefits of business planning which includes preparing for growth and creating jobs, responding to natural disasters, financial and cash flow management as well as digital marketing and social media strategies. Wayne also provides an overview of the free short courses available to Queensland businesses which are fully funded by the Queensland Government.

Wayne has led the development of a series of micro-credential planning courses in collaboration with all levels of government and stakeholders from a variety of industry sectors. The courses have been co-designed, co-delivered and co-evaluated with industry representatives and government agencies, with funding provided by the Queensland Government. The courses are offered simultaneously online and onsite at various locations throughout the state.
Wayne is an active researcher and has presented his research findings at national and international conferences and has published his research in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Health Organization and Management, the International Journal of Educational Management, and the Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing.
Prior to higher education, Wayne worked in the vocational education sector, the automotive industry and local government.
