Build a more resilient business ahead of natural disasters and unpredictable interruptions, with Rockhampton Regional Council's Business Continuity Program.
Fires, floods and storms present considerable personal and economic challenges for businesses, often interrupted for extended periods with relatively short notice.
While you may know how to prepare your shopfront or home in the event of a disaster or unforeseen closure, there are many other considerations when it comes to your business:
- How will you protect your business assets during a natural disaster?
- When and how will you resume trading?
- Will you need to replace stock, and how will your supply chain be affected?
- How can you make an effective insurance claim?
- Can your business operate effectively without services such as internet and electricity?
- What would happen to your business if your personal circumstances changed?
Learn how to improve the resilience of your supply chain, manage the risks your business faces and how to be prepared in the face of disaster so you can reopen with confidence and continue trading with minimal interruption.
The Business Continuity Program is delivered by Rockhampton Regional Council's Disaster Management team and its economic development arm, Advance Rockhampton.
We are now accepting Expressions of Interest from businesses wishing to participate. Please complete the form to provide feedback on your preferred time(s) and topics and you will be among the first to be notified when formal registrations open.
