Industrial Precincts

Prime industrial real estate

Rockhampton is the major hub for Central Queensland, servicing mining, manufacturing and primary production operations. Our infrastructure is ready to grow with your business. On the outskirts of the town, three strategically placed, fully equipped industrial facilities can manage any size and type of business. If you are interested in any of the below industrial land please contact the Advance Rockhampton team.

Parkhurst Industrial Estate

The Parkhurst Industrial Estate (PIA) sprawls on the city’s northern boundary. The Bruce Highway, part of Australia’s network of highways that circumnavigate the country, forms the estate’s eastern boundary. The North Coast railway line passes through the suburb from south to north.

For industrial businesses looking to invest in a strategic location, Parkhurst’s objective is to provide advanced integral infrastructure to small and medium-scale industries which have high value and are expecting sustained growth.

Many leading-edge companies already call Parkhurst Industrial Estate home, from multinational resource companies to transport, manufacturing, recycling, logistics, and mining supply businesses.

Gracemere Industrial Area

The Gracemere Industrial Area (GIA) has the capacity to house businesses servicing the Bowen, Galilee and Surat Basin mining industry, and the primary production and agriculture powerhouses of Central Western Queensland.

The GIA is a specialised transport and logistics hub. It is one of only a few industrial estates in Queensland capable of handling 23 and 25 metre B-doubles and Types 1 and 2 road trains directly off the highway.

The precinct is perfectly located for businesses seeking to provide goods and services to coal mining and coal seam gas operations, with major mining operations within easy reach between 200km and 450km. The closest ports at Gladstone are 110km to the south.

Businesses can operate 24 hours a day in most parts of the estate, and blocks are available with full infrastructure in place to suit freight and logistics, agriculture and food processing, manufacturing, construction and associated businesses.

Gracemere Industry Park

Gracemere Industry Park comprises 25ha adjacent to the Capricorn Highway, approximately 10km west of Rockhampton City. Gracemere Industry Park was established to cater for growing demand for industrial land and is suitable for owner-occupiers and tenants alike who require allotments zoned for low, medium and high impact, ranging from 1,000 to 50,000 square metres.

Gracemere is the starting point for access to industry and mining throughout the region and has been designed to cater for a wide range of transport requirements. Gracemere Industry Park is one of the few industry estates in Queensland capable of catering for road trains with wide estate roads and near-immediate access to the Capricorn Highway and the Gracemere Industrial Area overpass.
